TxTEC's goal is to increase the number and quality of telecommunications and information technology graduates available to meet current and future industry needs. TxTEC offers the opportunity for companies to consolidate and maximize funding for telecommunications engineering education and to acquire a competitive advantage in hiring telecommunications engineering graduates. The consortium provides a forum for universities and companies to consolidate research thrusts, strengthen fundamental courses in telecommunications engineering, and establish special areas of teaching and research focus.

We encourage researchers interested in making the promises of new technology and new ideas come true to get in touch with us at (IT)2. We can help them make the interdisciplinary connections and find the funding sources they need for meaningful research in telecommunications and information technology.
